Grade School Education

For the October Fire Prevention week in 2004 we visited our kids at Mountain Meadows and Capps just like we do every year.  This year we wanted to try something new.  In the years past we would go room to room and talk to the kids about Fire Prevention.  This year we put together a mini band and wrote a song about Stop, Drop and Roll.  We did an assembly at each of the two schools where we would talk to the kids at their level about fire safety and prevention and get them involved.  We would like to thank those at the Schools who helped us put it together, as well as those on our Fire Department who put a lot of prep time in and helped out with the presentation.  As always our mascot Sparky The Dog was there.  Stay tuned to this page, pictures and some video clips will soon be added.
