Fire Department board meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month and are open to the public. Meetings start at 6pm and are held in the classroom at the fire station. The agenda is posted 24 hours in advance at each Post Office, online and at the fire station.

We are located on the corner of Lumber Valley Rd and Hwy 260, in the center of Heber-Overgaard AZ. Our State and National certified EMS and Fire personnel respond to a variety of Emergency situations. We are comprised of full time, reserve and volunteer employees, providing a wide range of services.
The Volunteer Fire Fighters of Arizona organization has launched an integrated marketing campaign to reverse the declining trend of Volunteer Firefighters in Arizona. Emergency calls throughout Arizona continue to rise, but the number of Volunteer Firefighters continues to decline.
