June 18, 2002 was the start of the Rodeo-Chediski Fire.
It was the largest Fire in the history of Arizona.
Approximately 268 Homes and or structures were lost in the Heber/Overgaard area alone.
The stats in the chart below, for 2002, are in addition to the Rodeo-Chediski Fire.

2000 16 27 20 63
2001 5 15 42 62
2002 8 31 36 75
2003 6 43 108 157
2004 14 19 189 222
2005 14 21 187 222
2006 12 18 248 278

The chart below shows the total EMS calls for each year.  It then shows how many of those calls were MVA calls (Motor Vehicle Accidents) and how many patients were seen that year.  The reason more patients are seen than EMS calls, is because a single MVA call can generate more than one patient.  In addition we also get several patients that come into the station.
